A Great Way To Dine, U.S. Cheese-Wise

A Great Way To Dine, U.S. Cheese-Wise Almost a quarter of the world’s cheese is made in the United States, comprising of over 600 varieties, types and styles produced by skilled craftsmen. In the last couple of decades, the U.S. cheese industry has enjoyed a renaissance of specialty cheese making. These cheeses can differ in appearance, flavour, aroma and texture: all combining to create unique menu offerings.  With continuing global award recognition and broadened distribution, markets worldwide are discovering the quality of U.S. cheese, and chefs from all over the world, especially in Singapore, are beginning to explore the possibilities of using U.S. Cheese in their dishes.

The World Gourmet Summit, in collaboration with the USA Cheese Guild, is proud to present a two week promotion of U.S. Cheese and the multitude of uses in two different restaurants: OPIO Kitchen + Bar (specialising in Modern Asian cuisine), and Punjab Grill (featuring Indian cuisine from different regions of India).

The U.S.A Cheese Promotion will take the skills of Chef Javed Ahamad of Punjab Grill, and Chef Frankie Ting of OPIO, to create a menu of dishes meant to showcase the best of USA cheeses and how they can be the main star of the dish in question. Cheeses that will be featured include U.S. Buratta, U.S. Monterey Jack, and U.S. Pepper Jack Cheese.

The promotions for the two restaurants will run for two weeks each, with OPIO Kitchen + Bar running from the 11 December – 25 December 2020, and Punjab Grill starting from 14 December – 27 December 2020. The promotion will run for both lunch and dinner, so please do make your reservations at the respective restaurants.

The World Gourmet Summit will be giving away 15 seats for each restaurant to try the USA Cheese Guild promotional menu! For more information, do follow the World Gourmet Summit's Facebook page to get updated!
