A Blooming Great Brew With Tiger Beer!
Tiger is launching a limited-edition Tiger Orchid Brew (ABV 5.5%) to uncage positivity among Singaporeans and encourage a spirit of togetherness to ‘bloom as one’. It’s inspired by the Vanda Miss Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower, as well as the World’s possible oldest orchid in the world, which was discovered at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. As such, this lager is infused with orchids and boasts light floral notes with a touch of citrus, making it the perfect toast to Singaporeans as the nation’s 55th birthday approaches.
Initially available as a limited-time seasonal brew exclusively for the opening of Tiger Street Lab at Jewel Changi Airport last April, Tiger Orchid Brew was extremely well received among customers, and was sold out during its sales period.
“After our #SupportOurStreets campaign, where Tiger contributed cash and products to support Local F&B outlets during the circuit breaker period, we want to continue spreading positivity with the timely launch of Tiger Orchid Brew,” said Faye Wee, Marketing Director of Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore. “The perseverance shown by Singaporeans has been remarkable and as a beer born in Singapore, we feel more strongly than ever about coming together with optimism and vigour to ‘bloom as one’. Tiger Orchid Brew is our most locally inspired offering to date, bringing together local flavour, local brew and local art. We hope that it will remind us of our undaunting, can-do spirit as we celebrate National Day.”
The unique design on the packaging is a collaboration between Tiger and home grown artist and illustrator, Tiffany Lovage, which pays tribute to Tiger’s iconic look, which also showcasing her love for botany. “I resonate with the qualities that the orchid stands for, and feel incredibly blessed that Tiger recognises and embraces local artists,” explains Ms Lovage. “ I wanted to intertwine the orchid infusion of the beer with Singapore’s national flower and the lushness of our city. It’s particularly meaningful and ecstatic for me that Singaporeans will be drinking Tiger Orchid Brew from cans that I’ve designed for our nation’s birthday, as National Day 2020 is also the day that I turn 30!”
The uniquely local limited-edition Tiger Orchid Brew is now available in 4-can pack (recommended retail price at $11.70) at major supermarkets, convenience stores and online channels island-wide until 31 August, while stocks last.
