Michelin Works with Restaurants to Provide 2,000 Meals to Feed Families in Need Restaurants in Singapore today are facing difficult times amidst this circuit breaker, some on the brink of shutting down permanently. There have been many brands that have stepped up to help these restaurants so as to preserve Singapore’ culinary scene, and today, these restaurants are giving back.

Michelin Singapore has announced that it is collaborating with MICHELIN-recommended restaurants to deliver 2,000 meals to another vulnerable group – needy families, the beneficiaries of Food Bank Singapore’s members.

This initiative will take place from 18 to 24 May 2020, and will include a list of luminaries like the three-MICHELIN-star Odette, two-MICHELIN-star Saint Pierre, Shisen Hanten and Zén. Other notable restaurants include one-MICHELIN-star Alma by Juan Amador, Buona Terra, Burnt Ends amd Hawker Chan.

“Even as restaurants and dining establishments have been hard hit by measures intended to curb the transmission of COVID-19, their sense of compassion, hospitality and service to feed the community has never wavered.” says Mr. Chan HockSen, Country Head of Michelin Singapore.
