Plan Your February Date Nights! The World Gourmet Summit is kick-starting 2020 with an exciting line-up of activities starting with week-long partner restaurant promotions. For the entire year, Singapore diners will be spoilt for choice as WGS will organize several award-winning establishments to celebrate Singapore’s culinary scene with special menus and restaurant events.

This February, Singapore diners will get the opportunity to savour the special menus from restaurants like Peach Blossoms, Ginett Restaurant & Wine Bar, and Golden Peony. Here is what you can expect on the second month of the year.

1. Peach Blossoms

Since its opening in 1987, Peach Blossoms has established its name as one of the restaurants serving traditional and contemporary Cantonese cuisine in Singapore. Housed in the newly named PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, diners will have the opportunity to have the cuisine while taking in the Marina Bay skyline.

Signature dishes include the Roasted Tomahawk Steak in ‘Xinjiang’ style accompanied with green papaya salad, flambéed Chinese wine spring chicken, and tom yum soup with ‘otak’ served in whole coconut and chilled abalone with konbu and jelly fish served with yuzu sauce.

This WGS, guests will have the opportunity to savour the signature dishes and other special dishes prepared by Chef Edward Chong, the executive chef. To celebrate the Singapore culinary scene, Chef Chong will be preparing special dishes, and you will get to try it!

2. Ginett Restaurant & Wine Bar

Serving up superb French wines with hearty European gourmet offerings is Ginett Restaurant & Wine Bar in Hotel G. Since its inception in 2017, the restaurant has been offering guests a relaxing yet buzzy escape from the busy city.

Providing Singapore diners with fine food at an affordable price, Ginett is known for its value French wines with the price tag of $6 a glass all day long, quick easy lunch sets and late weekend brunches. No matter the time of the day, Ginett gives diners the ultimate value for their buck while still being able to enjoy a good time.

This year, Ginett will be participating in the World Gourmet Summit as a partner restaurant. This means that Singapore diners will get a rare opportunity to dine from a special menu that celebrates its talent and flair!

3. Golden Peony

Elegance and Opulence: These are the two words one will think of when dining at Golden Peony. Known as one of Singapore’s finest Cantonese restaurant, Golden Peony offers guests a variety of exotic flavour combinations of superbly refined Cantonese dishes.

The kitchen is helmed by Chef Ku Keung and his team of established Hong Kong culinary experts. Together, the team is responsible for the creation of the intricate menu that features Cantonese ingredients specially imported from diverse regions of China.

Besides the delectable dishes, Gold Peony also offers signature dim sum and an artfully selected wine list. This sophisticated restaurant is perfect for gatherings and intimate dinners. This year will mark the return of Golden Peony as partner restaurant of WGS 2020. Offering an exclusive menu, Chef Ku will present his culinary best and diners will have this one chance to see it for themselves!
