To celebrate the four seasons countries experience all year round, Basilico has decided to incorporate that theme and Four Seasons Hotel to its menu. For the whole year round, buffet diners at Basilico, Regent Singapore's flagship Italian restaurant will be able to "Savour the Seasons" where a different menu is offered every quarter. Only available for dinners, the dinner menu comprises of two buffets and a choice of a main course.
From January to March, experience winter with Basilico where warm, hearty dishes are served, featuring ingredients such as Sicilia's globe, violet spiny artichokes, game meats such as wild boar, venison and quail! Dishes like risotto with porcini and leeks and cured venison in a barbaresco wine reduction, is served.
From April to June, celebrate with nature as spring arrives for an explosion of wholesome flavours and freshness with seasonal ingredients such as zucchini flowers, fava beans, suckling pig and fresh herbs. The menu will feature slow roasted suckling pig with radicchio and Roman peccorino in a yellow peach and basil sauce, and more!
From July to September, get out and reach for the sun as summer sets in for a light and refreshing menu. Harvesting Norcia summer black truffle, juicy Pugliese cherries and Merinda tomatoes for a menu of seafood soup and "ferrovia" Puglia cherry and almond tart.
Lastly, experience autumn and the fallen delicacies from October to December with ingredients like Tutti funghi, ravioli and gnocci, quail and more to serve up dishes like agnolotti stuffed with goose liver and robiola cheese fondue, as well as a tantalising saffron risotto with forest mushrooms and winter truffles.
Also, not forgetting the forever famous wide spread of dessert in Basilico.
