Pierre Callot Rosé Premier Cru Brut Produced by renowned Champagne house Pierre Callot, which has won numerous awards, including the coveted gold medal in 2015's Chardonnay Du Monde this wine is produced using a blend that consists of primarily Chardonnay, as well as smaller amounts of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, of which thirty percent is reserve wine. Fabian Schenk, general manager of Open Farm Community, found this wine very enjoyable, praising its elegant bubbles and deep, rich fruit flavours. Stephanie Rigourd, wine director for The Raffles Hotel Singapore, also praised the wine's nose, deeming it to be “beautiful aromas of red cherries and strawberries, as well as the wine's attack, finding it “fresh with dynamic bubble evolution on top of a soft texture”. Ian Lim, head of sales and chief sommelier of the Singapore Straits Wine Company, also commented that this wine was “quite a serious sparkling rosé”, and was “not for the faint of heart”.
