Asiago & Parma Ham Croquette

Asiago & Parma Ham Croquette Ingredients
400g asiago cheese, cut into sticks
60g parma ham
120g flour
4 whole eggs, beaten
120g breadcrumbs
Cooking oil, for deep-frying
Tomato jam, for serving
Lollo rosso lettuce and arugula leaves, for garnishing

Preparation
Wrap the asiago cheese sticks with the parma ham and set aside. Whisk the flour and beaten whole eggs in a mixing bowl. Dip the asiago and ham sticks into the whisked egg mixture and then coat with breadcrumbs. Set aside. Heat the cooking oil until smoking point then deep-fry the breaded asiago and parma ham croquettes until golden browned. Place the deep-fried asiago and parma ham croquettes onto each serving plate. Serve with the tomato jam and garnish with the lollo rosso lettuce and arugula leaves.
