General Manager raised $15,627 for Race Against Cancer

Patrick Fiat, General Manager of Royal Plaza on Scotts, 62 years old, races against cancer on 3 August 2014 at the charity run organized by Singapore Cancer Society. He will be covering 10km for the run.

Friends, hotel associates and business partners showed support for Fiat upon learning of his effort to support the charitable cause. A total of $15,627 was raised for his participation.

Fiat joins the race for his best friends, hotelier, Noel Hawkes and his wife, Nancy Hawkes, who are both cancer survivors. He started his exercise regime at 60 and he encourages hotel associates to lead a healthy lifestyle. Ten other hotel associates are also joining Fiat in the Race Against Cancer.
