Salalah Beach; Oman will have another landscape added to its scene. A third hotel is under way in construction. The works will be commencing at the end of 2014. The 15.6 sq km tourist destination is being developed by Muriya, a joint venture of Orascom Development Holding and Omran, the Oman government’s tourism development arm. Vast planning has been underway to populate the site with more facilities to encourage and increase tourism flow to this area. The completed Salalah Beach( in the near future) will feature an array of retail and restaurant facilities, alongside two Peter Harradine-designed PGA golf courses, a 200 berth inland marina with dockside restaurants and cafes, two boutique hotels and a selection of resorts, including Club Med, Movenpick, and Rotana.
