Fine Cantonese Restaurant Mitzo Brings Over Chef LG Han of Labyrinth Mitzo Restaurant & Bar sets out to bring local gastronomes a taste of its well-loved progressive Cantonese cuisine—matched with the culinary sensibilities of Singapore’s top chefs—through a series of collaborative dinners, ‘Friends of Mitzo’, hosted by Mitzo’s Executive Head Chef Nicky Ng. 
Kicking off the series in July is neo-Sin pioneer and chef-owner of newly-minted one Michelin star restaurant, Chef LG Han of Labyrinth, who will be lending his mastery of the five basic taste sensations—sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami—to complement Chef Nicky’s modern Cantonese fare.
Held across three consecutive evenings from 25 to 27 July 2017, both chefs will come together to put forth a special six-course collaborative set menu for an intriguing meeting of styles, as Chef Han harmonizes modern inventive cuisine creatively with the contemporary Cantonese flavours of Chef Nicky. Savour the unexpected through dishes executed in contemporary techniques such as a jointly constructed Dim sum platter of Sea urchin custard bun & Truffles shrimp dumpling, a luxurious Abalone tart with Labyrinth homemade Oyster sauce, and an Elevated fish congee served with sea bass and ginger espuma, among others.
