A piece by the Business Times shares how a Brazilian plastics company has found a way to make plastic containers change colour when the pH values of their contents change. The idea began from local food safety issues, such as when government inspectors were allegedly bribed to allow food companies to continue selling their meats pass their sell-by dates. Aside from health and safety, the company emphasizes innovation and sustainability.
