We all probably know Chef James Martin best for being the television chef/host on the popular BBC Lifestyle show – Saturday Kitchen. From his quips on the famed Omelette Challenges to the details and jokes during the making his own dishes. Chef Martin started to cook when he was probably five-six years old on his family’s pig farm. His father Ian Martin, Chef Martin says was a jack of all traders who did a lot of different things on the side which exposed him to various events. “Rather than sit in a restaurant, I wanted to be in the kitchen as I was always interested in food. But I didn’t consciously decide to do this as a career till my family went to this two Michelin-star restaurant in the south of France.”
