For most sun lovers, the beach would be the number one spot for some sea activities and to ‘strut’ their physique. Especially so in the beaches of Rio de Janeiro. For those in the food scene, Rio’s beaches are the best testing grounds in determining whether their food creation will take flight. For Mr Raphael Kras, being a vegetarian, he wasn’t sure if vegetarian burgers would be a selling point and using the Ipanema beach as his spot to do a test run, he has successfully created a business of his own with a second restaurant opening soon in downtown Rio. Maybe we can learn a thing or two from them in having this culture set up in Singapore.
