St. Moritz Gourmet Festival 2016

St. Moritz Gourmet Festival 2016 Yokoso Nippon was the theme for this year’s St. Moritz Gourmet Festival 2016 that took place from 25 to 29 January. It was a chef-studded event with the appearance of nine renowned Japanese masterchefs; Hisato Nakahigashi, Masayasu Yonemuura, Hiroki Yoshitake, Kei Kobayashi, Keisuke Matsushima, Tohru Nakamura, Hideki Matsuhisa, Nobu Matsuhisa and Akifumi Sakagami.

The first day of the festival was celebrated on a high note with a guest list of 400 who were serenaded by a live band, and pampered lavishly with fine champagnes, wines and spirits, as well as first-hand opportunity to taste the culinary delights by the guest masterchefs. It was hosted at the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains, St. Moritz. The subsequent days excited many epicureans and foodies as more than 40 events were introduced in the line-up such as Gourmet Diner, Gourmet Safaris, Kitchen Party and an elegant Fascination Champagne event.
