In the SG50 spirit while the celebrations continue here in Singapore, whisky connoisseurs can now have a unique way to celebrate Singapore’s Golden Jubilee with The Dalmore Affinity. As a one-off bottling – the bottle is numbered 1/1, this 50-year-old whisky was “inspired by the theme of ‘togetherness’ and a collective sense of identity” and was introduced by The Dalmore’s Master Distiller, Richard Paterson. History has it that The Dalmore Affinity spent 48 years in American white oak bourbon barrels before it was finished for two years and six months in a Gonzalez Byass Matusalem Oloroso 30 Year Old sherry butt. Bottled in a decanter with silverwork by Hamilton & Inches, it is presented in a bespoke wooden case crafted by Linley Interior Design.
