Last week, Hawke’s Bay saw the bottling of a new vintage of New Zealand’s most expensive white wine – Clearview Estate’s Endeavour Chardonnay. Made only when the vintage is considered to be of exemplary quality, this particular bottling is of the 2013 vintage, which is considered by many to be the “vintage of the century”, and has many wine connoisseurs almost dying of anticipation.
