American Culinary Federation announces 2015’s Chef of the Year Announced annually at the American Culinary Federation Chefs Las Vegas dinner, this year’s Chef of the Year is David Simmons. Executive Chef for Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Simmons is also a board member and chairman of the membership community for the Nevada Restaurant Association and was named in 2013’s and 2014’s Best Chef America List.
