C'est La Vie at CE LA VI!

C'est La Vie at CE LA VI! With new Executive Chef Maksym Chukanov, rooftop bar and restaurant CE LA VI is poised for a comeback, welcoming guests with fervour while enjoying beautiful views from above MBS. While the restaurant continues its campaign to stay true to its modern interpretation of Asian flavors, Chef Chukanov’s work helps add a much needed rejuvenation in its blood, including in its snacks. Imagine Thai Baby corn with a puffy quinoa coating and smoky adobo chipotle flavour, which gives a good bite and a small kick in the spice palate. Or even battered zucchini flowers fried in the same way tempura does and paired with a wasabi sauce that isn’t too overpowering.Fried snacks that you can share with your fellow guests are simply unique and far away from the usual range of fried goods that tend to go with drinks.

hould you not wish to have fried starters, consider the Hokkaido scallop, which is dressed with green apple and yuzu kosho. For other cold dish items, look at Silver Fern Farms Beef Tenderloin Tartare, which features fresh beef with beautifully grown local herbs.

Mains that are good for you to try include the New Zealand Whole Lemon Sole, which features lala clams, sea asparagus and yuzu, and makes for a great choice for those looking for a good seafood dish. Those looking for a good meatier dish might find the Sanchoku “F1 Wagyu” Marble Score 5 T-Bone a great option as well.

Finish off your meal with one of the great desserts made by the CE LA VI team, like the Sinfully Chocolate, which comes with a hazelnut brownie, a mousse made with 55% Cacao, salted caramel and Ecuadorian chocolate ice cream, a great option for any chocolate lovers out there
