Peter Knipp Holdings Congratulates Mr Leonard Lam for His Appointment as Senior Vice President & Managing Director for the APAC Region

This is welcome news, as Mr Lam spent 18 years with Welbilt in a variety of leadership positions. Having joined Welbilt with the acquisition of Fabristeel in 2007 , he then went on to lead the region as VP of Finance for eight years. Subsequently, he was named VP of Marketing, where he revamped Welbilt's marketing strategy and introduced new customer-focused events like the “Season” conferences, Welbilt TV and the promotion of solutions-based “Complete, FIT, Connected” strategy that differentiates Welbilt from its competitors.

Early last year, he took on the added responsibility of operations and drove efficiency improvements with factories operations at Welbilt.

Mr Lam will be covering full day to day operating responsibility for the APAC region, while continuing to hold his marketing portfolio.
