Curated and bottled cocktails are the way some bars and restaurants are choosing to innovate and reinvigorate their cocktail programmes to meet people who may still be working from home, or simply as a way to gift friends and families during this time.
We are showcasing some of the most recent ones that you can take the opportunity to indulge in during this time of festivity and fun.
In collaboration with women’s rights and gender equality advocacy group AWARE, Singapore bottled cocktail label GudSht has launched two brand-new alcoholic concoctions, Gin-der Equality and Misogyny B Gone, embodying love and rage respectively.
This mirrors the twin themes of love and rage being explored at the inaugural AWAREFest, a celebration of AWARE’s first 35 years and featuring five days of workshops, panel discussions, and interactive programmes from 25-29 November. 10% of GudSht’s proceeds from the sales of Gin-der Equality and Misogyny B Gone will be donated to AWARE’s NextGen Fund, committed to nurturing the next generation of change-makers.
Gin-der Equality (Rosehip Hibiscus Tea, Sipsmith Sloe Gin, Honey, Raspberry Jam, and Grapefruit Bitters) and Misogyny B Gone (Bacardi Carta Blanca, Banana Liqueur, and Dom Benedictine, and topped off with Earl Grey Tea and Chilli Tincture) are both two sides of the same coin, something that Aware wants people to understand. From sweet to spicy, this is a drink that will help you pay tribute to the spectrum of feminism and what it means to embrace both the feminine and the masculine side of gender equlity, no matter your assigned gender at birth.
Both of the new GudSht x AWAREFest cocktails are now available on the GudSht online store until 4 December 2020 only, and are priced at $28 for the 300ml bottle and $45 for the 600ml bottle (before GST). They’re also available as part of two bundles, the AWAREFest Limited Release Bundle at $49 (containing one 300ml bottle of each cocktail) and the AWAREFest Limited Release Bundle+ at $79 (containing one 600ml bottle of each cocktail).
