Celebrating 20 Years of Singapore's Favourite Food For 20 years, the Singapore Food Festival (SFF) has been indulging Singaporeans and tourists alike the island’s unique food heritage and also paying homage to local culinary—unsung—heroes. This year, the feast will take place from 12 July to 21 July at Bayfront Avenue (Marina Bay) organized by the Singapore Food & Beverage Alliance (SFBA). The Singapore Food Festival (SFF) was first launched in 1994 and proudly supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). The calendar of events aims to showcase Singapore’s diverse food culture inspired by our heritage. Unforgettable gastronomic experience is the keystone of the food festival. Just what is the allure of this festival that has spanned two decades?

"Since it’s already 20 years in the running, what else can we do to surprise the visitors? So we decided to interpret the food festival from various angles.

"From the normal kind of food festival menu promotions in the restaurants, food tours, masterclasses, we have also included workshops where one can come and discuss anything about food and culture,’ said Mr Chew Tiong Heng, Executive Director of Precincts & Tourism Concept Development at the Singapore Tourism Board.

Indulge in starkly different dishes during this not-to-be-missed festival and appreciate the gastronomic discovery through food-related events such as cooking classes and a mini film festival, which are all part of the lineup for this culinary extravaganza.
