Menu Revamp at Blue Lotus Chinese Grill House

If you are a fan of Blue Lotus at their Sentosa and Alexandra branches, including their signature Chilli Pomelo Crab, but you lament at the distance you have to go to get some, you're in luck: Blue Lotus Chinese Grill House at Tanjong Pagar is planning to bring more of their Sentosa outlet menu items into their Tanjong Pagar branch, as well as an all new menu designed to tantilize the senses.
Guests will be treated to inventive dishes that range from starters such as their Crispy Salmon Skin fried with Salted Egg Yolk and D.I.Y Crispy Pork Lard Popiah, along with mains like their Signature Chilli Pomelo Crab, and their Hickory Smoked Honey - Glazed Pork Ribs, as well as Hoot STone Pork Lard Truffle Flavoured Fried Rice. Desserts also include a spin on local favourites such as their Durian Creme Brulee and Chilled Alow Vera Lemongrass Jello with Lime Sorbet.
A welcome addition to the menu includes their Chilli Pomelo Crab Tarts, the restaurants way of creating a cleaner, yet still delicious spin on the Chilli Pomelo Crab Tart. It's a one-biter, put still packs a punch, and is everything you love in the original Chilli Pomelo Crab, but handier to eat.
Mr Ricky Ng, Managing Director of Blue Lotus Concepts International, states that he wanted Blue Lotus to have a more relaxed, fun concept, that's often not seen in many Chinese restaurants. " My philosophy is about 'fun' dining," he explains. "Many Chinese restaurants are often occasion places, mostly for events that involve family. We want to create a Chinese restaurant where you and your friends can take your friends in a relaxed, casual environment." And the new menu changed in their Tanjong Pagar outlet reflects that objective.
All in all, the new menu at Blue Lotus Chinese Grill House will bring more people together down for a fun, evening to unwind after work, in a menu that's meant to be shared amongst friends and colleagues.
