Royal Plaza on Scotts has been awarded the Overall Excellence Winner of GIFTTS (Great Initiatives for Today's [Tomorrow's] Society), being the only Southeast Asia property in the region commended for its commitment to philanthropy, community, sustainability and education. Projects such as the hotel's signature Formula One life-size car display charity fundraiser and an annual break fast session with migrant workers allowed the hotel to win against 750 distinctive hotels, resorts and residences. The award was presented at Preferred Hotels and Resorts Global Conference.
