Savour Exquisite Wine With 'Wine Club By Esquina' Drop whatever plans you have this weekend, it's time to dig in into some fantastic wine at ESQUINA at their 'Wine Club by ESQUINA' programme! Held on the second floor of ESQUINA on Friday and Saturday nights, its billed to be one of Singapore's most extensive wine-by-the-glass programmes, featuring boutique producers from Spain and beyond. Expect a rotating weekly feature of at least 12 wines by the glass, all priced at $14++ and originating from award-winning regions like Rioja, Penedes and Rias Baixas. ESQUINA's Head Chef Carlos Montobbio's personal favourites will also be revealed in a weekly 'Chef's Choice' list, and a surprise 'Wine of the Week' priced at $78++ a bottle will also be showcased, encapsulating the essence of these artisanal wines and their makers.

On top of the myriad of delicious quality wines by the glass, Chef Carlos' modern Spanish bar bites menu have also been thoughtfully curated to kick off the weekend fun at ESQUINA. 
 

About Chef Carlos Montobbio, ESQUINA (31 years old):
Barcelona-born Chef Carlos Montobbio grew up with a passion for cooking and developed his culinary skills at the renowned Hoffman culinary school in Barcelona. Chef Carlos has worked alongside celebrated chefs including the Roca brothers from 3 Michelin-starred and recurring #1 on the prestigious 'World's 50 Best Restaurants' list, El Celler de Can Roca. Head Chef at ESQUINA since September 2015, Chef Carlos introduces diners to Spanish and Catalan flavours inspired by his heritage and personal culinary experiences.

About ESQUINA:
ESQUINA, meaning "corner" in Spanish, represents the location of the restaurant along Jiak Chuan Street. Established in December 2011, the restaurant specialises in contemporary cuisine that showcases Spanish and Catalan flavours. The rustic and modern industrial cues of the restaurant complements the artfully crafted contemporary renditions of Barcelona-born Chef Carlos Montobbio, who leads the kitchen. Inspired by the colourful tapas bars found in Spain, ESQUINA evokes a sense of being in the heart of Spain with its buzzing atmosphere and vibrant setting.
