Where to Go for Valentine's Day Celebrate the season of love with that special one and impress him/her not only with your thoughtful gift and flowers but also with stellar food. There’s no dining by the candlelight in today’s modern world but rather an elaborate menu worth of mains, dessert and/or wine awaits you because food becomes a symbol of love when words are inadequate! Here are some of our picks with each restaurant’s curated menu!
 
Antoinette
Sugar daddy Chef Pang has created two special Valentine’s Day offerings along with a beary special dessert called “Be My Teddy”.
 
His first special menu, Le Menu Valentine’s Day, is available only on 14 February 2018 and you would get to pick between Chef Pang’s delicious Duck Rillete or 3 Cheese Tortellini served in delicious seafood bisque. The romantic meal is then continue with omelette served with red wine Wagyu beef ragout, chicken roulade served with port wine sauce and completed with the beautiful La Rose cake.   
 
Chef Pang’s second special menu is Le Spécialité Valentine’s Day includes “Sweet & Sour”, a local inspired main dish, “I’m Yours….”, an Antoinette exclusive tea concoction, and “Be My Teddy”, a dark chocolate and raspberry mousse cake with a layer of crunchy hazelnut almond feuilletine enhanced with premium, juicy raspberries. Le Spécialité Valentine’s Day will be served from now till the end of February 2018 and you could take your date to Antoinette if you are unavailable next week!

At $128 per couple, inclusive of two complimentary glasses of Prosecco, Blue Lotus Mediterranean Kitchen + Bar’s features Mediterranean delicacies such as a mezze platter, prawn bisque and choice of spice-rubbed sea-bass or char-grilled Angus oyster blade. Rounding off the experience on a sweet note is the dessert of 70% Dark Chocolate Pot de Crème.

Available from 12th to 15th February 2018 and at a pocket-friendly SGD50, TWG Tea starts the indulgent affair with a sparkling white wine cocktail infused with Follow Me Tea, a blend of the finest harvest green ta that yields alluring floral notes, pineapple and wild strawberry. Next up is the pan-seared Boston lobster and Hokkaido scallops served with a sea urchin emulsion, sprinkled with Gyokuro Samurai tea leaves and accompanied by squid ink emperor rice, wasabi glazed leeks and pickled beetroot. The evening is then finished with a strawberry dome infused with Mon Amour Tea, served with a strawberry coulis and a scoop of raspberry sorbet accompanied by a warm pot of Mon Amour Tea or a glass of Follow Me Iced Tea.

For just SGD68 for a four course lunch, you will enjoy Cold Angel Hair with truffle, oyster and caviar as an appetizer and you will pick between the Beef Short Ribs with lardo, seasonal vegetables and salmon roe or Cod Fish with cauliflower, asparagus and caviar for your main. The memory of the romantic lunch date is then sealed with a Faux Mandarin Orange dessert.
 
The dinner affair begins from SGD168 onwards for a six or eight course meal. Enjoy a cocktail and additional dishes on the menu that includes the luxuriant Purple Potato Foie Gras, Lobster Bisque and Rose Lychee Cheesecake.

Exclusively available on 14 February 2018, Japanese-French cuisine restaurant Lewin Terrace is set to tantalize palates and kindle the flames of romance.
 
Start with a glass of bubble- a Moet Chandon Imperial Rosé for her and a Moet Chandon Imperial Brut for him, followed by an amuse bouche and a Sea Urchin Mousse with Angel Prawn. A Scallop soup ensues before the menu continues on with a Steamed Kinme Fish Moussse accompanied with fennel sauce. The finishing touch is a secret dessert titled “Valentine’s Chocolate” inspired by a Roman tale that celebrates love.

It does not matter at Porta whether you are dining in for lunch or dinner because the price remains the same at SGD68; you will be treated to a glass of Prosecco Love Potion, followed by appetisers and starters to arouse the palates. Add a touch of decadence to the meal with Hokkaido Scallops accompanied with butternut pumpkin, bacon, and quinoa.
