Food Stories (click here) is an interactive website for kids to learn about food. Clicking on the various links (cartoon images of food items and ingredients) will guide the user to another new interactive page. The links are somewhat captivating and cute, and the design engaging. It should be noted that while text is a bit heavy, the website does not propagate about eating healthy foods (a trend which seems to have the opposite reaction on most kids), rather, it discusses about the history of foods, changes in eating trends etc and of course, raises the simple question of “what kind of lifestyle are we all leading? And where will it take us?” Hopefully, with more websites like this, we can stop uttering the words: “kids these days” and  stop sighing at the youths that live in this day and age.
